Volunteer Opportunities
The Mojave River Watershed Group encourages all High Desert residents to get involved in keeping our desert water clean. Taking action is the most important thing you can do and volunteering for one of our Clean Up Days makes a huge impact.
We all drive by fields in the desert that are littered with plastic bags, fast food wrappers and leftover auto fluid bottles. Together, community members gather for a few hours in the morning and clear the trash, revealing the beautiful natural desert landscape free from pollution and free from possible stormwater pollution runoff.
Gloves, trash bags, t-shirts and great memories are provided at each clean-up day! For more information on our upcoming events, check out our calendar. Or, to plan your own clean-up day, please contact Stormwater Trooper Megan at (951) 462-1106 or via email.
