Pick Out Water-wise Plants at Our Local Nurseries!

Jun 24, 2020 at 1:30pm

Check out the best plants to grow this season and find out where to grow them locally.

It’s summertime and we’re making stormwater-savvy planting easy! Since High Desert weather is usually hot and dry, it is essential to plant flowers that can withstand heat, do not require the use of fertilizers or pesticides and use minimal water. That’s what makes them stormwater savvy! What’s more, when a plant requires minimal watering, we are less likely to have runoff which can carry fertilizers, pesticides and harsh chemicals into our watershed.
