Did you know that litter, pet waste, and chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, paint or motor oil all have potential to become stormwater pollution when left on the ground? These pollutants can harm our watershed and also the plants that absorb them, and it happens quicker than you think. In this video Stormwater Trooper Marty uses celery stalks to show just how easily these pollutants can get absorbed by plants.
